The original CrossFit Swarm was known as “B’s” Gym. Brian opened an 800 sq. ft. B’s Gym on Elm Street in 2009 and just months later, affiliated as CrossFit Swarm. In 2010, Swarm moved to Mainline Drive until relocating again to their current 5,000 sq. ft. location at 4 Coleman Ave in 2015.

Fun Fact: The gym is named Swarm because Brian’s nickname is Bee; it's referred to as the “Hive.”


At Swarm, modified workouts support ANY fitness level. Mary states, “That’s our job and specialty. We want you to feel good while you are here and when you aren’t. We can accommodate any limitations. We support athletes through recovery from surgery, injuries, pregnancies, and postpartum.”

Swarm offers two fitness programs: traditional CrossFit and BEx Training. BEx Training is their bootcamp-style program that focuses on metabolic conditioning and its fat burning effects; it runs alongside Swarm’s CrossFit group classes and includes warm up, strength, and conditioning components. All movements are scalable to YOU.

EXPERIENCE: Swarm prides itself on having skilled and knowledgeable staff. With Brian’s 13 years experience, staff learn through coaching mentorships, become certified through CrossFit, and undergo weekly coach development sessions. All coaches are CPR/AED Certified.  


Swarm members are a friendly, encouraging, and like-minded group looking to improve overall health and fitness for themselves and for those they love most. Every person that comes through Swarm’s doors is part of an extended family; age, gender, fitness level doesn't matter. We are all on our own journey and here to support one another – inside and outside of the gym. #SwarmStrong


Mary understands the journey.  In 2000, she began the process of losing 200 pounds through eating nutritious foods, practicing portion control, and exercising. She has maintained her weight loss for the last eight years!  Mary uses her life experiences to be truly relatable to her clients and their struggles.

The gym's Nutrition Coaching program provides individuals with a straightforward, science-based approach to nutrition and wellness.  The program uses behavior modification strategies to create positive change without the stress of dieting. Coaches provide ongoing support, education, and accountability for each member along their journey.
