The Dienger Trading Company on Main Street, has been providing goods and services to the community since the mid-1880s. The historic building, turned bistro and boutique, offers a wide array of products for hill country residents. In curating the men’s line at The Dienger Michelle Ernst says she looks for “Quality-based clothing; items that will last longer and remain staple items through many fashion trends.” She advises that these clothes will stand up during hunting trips and everyday basic wear-and-tear.

The brands featured in the men’s section racks include clothing by Filson as American Heritage Wear and a UK brand, Barbour, popular with the Royal Family. Also on the shelves and racks is Austin-based Criquet, offering modern and timeless designs. Clothing is carefully selected with intention and purpose to create a men’s wear section that dedicates itself to the function and form of men’s fashion.

In addition to clothing, accessories and self-care items for men are available: Highland laces for shoes, apothecary items, and accessories like the hand-made Krewe sunglasses made in New Orleans. Men can also find a variety of bath and body products, including beard oils. Durable and attractive luggage and unique coolers are also available.

Michelle Ernst notes, “This curated space is meant for the Texas hill country man.” Given the dedication and detail at the Dienger Trading Co. shoppers are sure to enjoy the experience.
