New, locally handcrafted screen doors from Adorn Goods are perfect for watching the world go by.
Beautiful, custom screen doors by Steve Smith Designs are available for ordering, starting with three styles and glass door interchangeable inserts. Adorn Goods co-owner Jennifer Steiner says the doors are a pleasurable, quick way to freshen one's home entrance, all while enjoying the various seasons.
She says the initial screen doors are sapele hardwood, with prices based on customization. In its original state, sapele is a dark reddish-brown wood with ribbon pattern; it's actually heavier, stronger and harder than African mahogany. Other screen door materials, such as pine, also can be created.
Adorn Goods is a boutique store that creatively combines tableware, gifts, home accessories, gourmet food items, featured artists and artisans.
