Ingredients

  • 6 Medjool dates, pitted and finely chopped

  • ½ cup creamy natural peanut butter

  • ⅓ cup quick oats

  • 4 Tbsp vanilla protein powder

  • 2 Tbsp chia seeds

  • 3 Tbsp maple syrup

  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon (optional)

  • Pinch of salt

  • 2 Tbsp hot water

Instructions

  1. Chop the dates into very small pieces so they blend smoothly.

  2. Add the chopped dates to a bowl and combine with the remaining ingredients. Stir until the mixture begins to come together.

  3. Use your hands to finish mixing, pressing and folding until a soft dough forms. Add a spoonful of protein powder if too sticky or a splash of hot water if too dry.

  4. Roll into approximately 16 small balls and place them on a tray or plate.

  5. Refrigerate or freeze until firm.
