This time of year, the stores are usually full of new fall and winter fashions. This year’s store windows and clothing departments may take on a decidedly different look to reflect the change in so many women’s lifestyles in 2020 – a trend towards casual.
“When it comes to style this fall, she wants more flexibility in pieces that work seven days a week, and casual and comfy is key,” said Ashley Linsmeier, EVEREVE's director of styling. EVEREVE is one of the fashion retailers who dresses and styles women in casual contemporary clothing from brands including Good American founded by Khloe Kardashian and Emma Grede, and Southern California-based clothiers including Sundry and Sanctuary.

Now, if you’re looking for dressier fashion this fall, Glamour magazine reports that the runways are full of “second time around” looks including ponchos, equestrian-inspired suiting, skirt suits, floral coats and slouchy boots. Cerulean blue is also the color to watch for … it’s a shade of blue ranging between azure and a dark shade of sky blue. “The color looks especially fresh when worn head-to-toe as seen at Carolina Herrera and Sally Lapointe shows.
