When Stephanie Purzycki, left her Manhattan design firm and moved to Fairfield to raise her children, she found herself constantly on playdates in people’s homes. “The minute I shared that I was an interior designer, the home décor questions came pouring in,” says Stephanie. “I realized that not everyone needs a full-service design firm or has the budget for one. And that’s when The Finish was born.” With the help of business partner and Home Editor, Kate Madden, this design duo is clearly breaking the mold. Here, The Finish shares some of their beautiful and inspiring work.
Unlike traditional design services, there’s no budget minimum—The Finish loves small projects as much as the big ones. And, unlike e-design, their projects are personal. Clients work with a designer that’s hand-selected to solve specific problems, whether it’s a floorplan that’s not working or a blank wall in need of just the right art. Plus, The Finish has a network of talented designers, which means they’re able to pair clients with a designer within a few days.
