“Design resides in an infinite space that can be tailored to each individual’s personal requests. I pride myself on addressing the needs before sprinkling in the desires,” says Sarah Johnson, president and creator of Pash Design Studio, based from Coppell.
She assures that she's dedicated to providing memorable experiences for her clients. Sarah has 25-plus years of experience in luxury retail where she helped style clients with high-end clothing brands, such as Gucci, Salvatore Ferragamo, Valentino, Oscar de la Renta and Stuart Weitzman. She assisted clients, spanning corporate-employed professionals to new college graduates seeking to make dynamic first impressions during interviews. “My first priority was to always connect with the client, and understand his or her personality and passion, before visualizing a personalized look,” recalls Sarah.
Sarah’s love for fashion and personal style led her to her latest venture of being an interior designer.
“It was 2014, after the birth of my son, we decided to sell our home. My husband and I took charge of getting the home prepared for the sale. After I personally staged the home, we brought in a realtor to help us list the home. The realtor was impressed with how I staged my home and asked that I help her stage one of her client’s homes," she says. "Not only was that client extremely satisfied with my service, but her home was sold quickly. This is where my (interior design) journey began.”
However, Sarah says Pash Design Studio is more than interior design alone. "It's designing an experience that evokes emotion. If I can't achieve function, it doesn't matter how beautiful that space is. I want everyone to love the energy in their home. I want them to feel something when they walk into their space.”
Sarah admits she's passionate about being an entrepreneur. “I made millions for my favorite companies, and I decided years ago that I'm ready to invest in myself and help transform the lives of my clients," she adds.
She says she's built important resources that allow her to meet any budget for any client while creating memorable experiences. "At times, clients confide with me when they're looking to rebuild their life after a traumatic event, such as a divorce. I personally take them through a journey of rebuilding their life with positivity.”
Sarah also helps design commercial spaces for local physician offices and wellness clinics, including starting from a shell space, as well as working with architects, construction teams and city permits. As she enters each space, she says she envisions patients' anticipated experiences, and designs the flow in a manner so patients enjoy visiting the office.
“I design with a people first mentality. I want people to love the space they work in, or serve their own clients in,” she says.
Sarah also can serve clients as a personal stylist, assisting them in preparing for professional events and photo shoots. She provides complimentary consultations, which can consist of 1 to 2 hours of an in-person or virtual meeting for all of her services.
