As the owner of Osmond Designs, Heather Osmond believes that creating the space for those meaningful moments is at the heart of what interior design is all about.
“Beautiful homes are wonderful,” she notes, “but beautiful lives are even better. Helping families create spaces they love—and that love them back—is what inspires me every day.” For more than two decades, that philosophy has guided Osmond’s work at Osmond Designs, where she and her team of talented designers, sales professionals, warehouse specialists, delivery experts, and administrative staff has helped thousands of Utah families transform houses into places that reflect how they actually want to live, not just how a room is supposed to look.
It’s also what led Osmond to open her own business. She wanted to create something that did not fully exist in the Utah market at the time: a place where homeowners could receive professional interior design guidance while shopping for quality furniture, all under one roof. She believed clients deserved more than a salesperson pointing them toward a showroom floor—they deserved a trusted advisor who could help them avoid costly mistakes and make decisions they would still love decades later.
That vision became Osmond Designs, a full-service interior design firm and furniture retailer that has grown into one of Utah’s most trusted names in the industry, working with homeowners throughout Utah as well as clients across the country on everything from cozy family rooms to sprawling luxury properties.

A lifelong Utahn, Osmond attended Provo High School and BYU before putting down roots in Orem, then Cedar Hills, and later Alpine, where she lives today. She is the mother of four children, who she calls her greatest inspiration, and outside of work, she enjoys traveling, supporting local businesses, serving in her church, and mentoring fellow entrepreneurs.
Many may recognize her last name from the world of music and entertainment. “I’m honored to be part of the Osmond family and the legacy it represents,” Osmond says. “Growing up in a family known for hard work, integrity, faith, and services taught me lessons that continue to influence the way I lead my businesses today.”
Looking ahead, Osmond wants to keep expanding the company’s design services while reaching more homeowners through television, radio, public speaking, and community events, believing informed homeowners make better decisions. She’s also energized by how quickly Utah is growing. The Jordan River area, she notes, is one of the fastest-growing regions in the country, and she’s proud to be part of an entrepreneurial spirit that fuels innovation without losing sight of family and community.
