Bonefish Grill Greenwood specializes in handcut, wood-grilled specialties and locally crafted dishes made with fresh, highest-quality ingredients. The restaurant offers a selection of classic and signature handcrafted cocktails, using just-squeezed juices, edible garnishes and house infusions, in addition to offering distinct wines to perfectly complement any food pairing.
Located just south of County Line Road on State Road 135, this restaurant has been operated by managing partner Brian Newlin since 2008. Their team often gets a nod for starting the local trend of bang bang shrimp, which is crispy fried shrimp tossed in a creamy, spicy sauce.
"I'm super proud of our homegrown managers, most all who started as hosts, bartenders, cooks or servers. And we have such a cohesive, hard-working overall team. My highest honor is when former employees allow their kids to work for me. That they had such a good experience they trust me with their most precious of people," says Brian, reflecting on his own days starting in the hospitality industry as a server at Outback Steakhouse.
In Greenwood, chef-curated selections include butterfish, bourbon-glazed salmon, ahi tuna scallops, pork chops, as well as filet with lobster tail. Additional meat selections cover chicken, trout, sea bass, mahi-mahi, cod, tacos, burgers plus fish and chips.

Bonefish Grill's name originated from the love for fresh fish by the restaurant's founders Tim Curci and Chris Parker, and their discovery of the bonefish, a legendary Florida gamefish that's "admired" by anglers. The name reflects their desire to create a restaurant focused on fresh seafood and unique dining experiences.
That unique ambiance from the founders includes candlelit booths and tables locally.
"Anything and everything we can do to take care of guests and add to their happiness, we want to do. That's our Greenwood way," assures Brian. "We hope guests have many peak moments of fantastic food and professional service with us, those times during which they notice we went above and beyond in ways we didn't even have to, but more because we cared and wanted to do that for them."
