For Laura, the holiday season is a joyous time filled with warmth and togetherness that extends to her personal life, too.
“The holidays are a great time to get together and cook! I love hosting and having everyone together in one place,” she says.
“I usually throw a huge Christmas party for my friends and family, getting to see people that I don’t get to see throughout the year. I get very giddy when I see my out-of-state family and friends.” The holidays are a time for creating lasting memories that remind me of the importance of connection, both personally and professionally.
Laura’s journey with the Dry Lounge began in 2016, when she purchased the salon with Liz, her friend and business partner.
“I was fortunate to run the business with her,” she recalls. “When Liz retired in 2022, I became the sole owner, and it’s been such a rewarding journey ever since.”
Dry Lounge’s current offerings include hair, makeup, and skincare services. Looking ahead to 2026, Laura’s ready to take the business to new heights.

Laura is also committed to giving back to the Yorba Linda community as much as possible.
“Being a business owner in the community, I donate a lot of products and services to many charities,” she says.
Her philanthropic efforts include supporting organizations such as NCL, the National Charity League, as well as local women’s shelters and high school sports teams.
