Nashville's first craft cidery to produce bold, crisp hard cider is still adding new, authentic flavors to their lineup. The Diskin Cider crew makes cider the traditional way by using only fresh pressed apples to break the mold of overly sweet cider. Additionally, their Lola seltzers product line is made with their apple juice base and real fruit juices, but is low calorie, low sugar and only 4% alcohol by volume.
Considered bonuses by many Diskin Ciders' enthusiasts are that the company's beverages contain nothing artificial, have no added sugars, and are gluten free. Two more bonuses are that they have free parking and welcome dogs on the patio.
Staffers at the cidery go to great lengths to share their spirit for their spirits. "While we're taking extra precautions due to the pandemic, curbside pickup and delivery within Davidson County is still available as a part of social 'diskining'!" proclaims co-founder Adam Diskin.
The Backstory
In 2012, Adam moved to Nashville from the Pacific Northwest where he searched far and wide to get his hands on a similar true cider experience that he was familiar with in Washington, Canada and England. After years of searching with no luck, he felt it was time to finally start his own. He collaborated with friend, Todd Evans, to begin their journey in building Nashville’s first and only craft cidery.
Adam and Todd studied under an English Cider Master to learn to make cider the way it’s been made for centuries. They followed the old tradition saying friends and family would gather together and drink cider in their neighbors barns while looking up at the stars. The cidery architecture has wooden planks in the ceiling and hanging pendant lights, which was purposefully made to emulate the barn tradition.

"While we encourage everyone to try cider for the first time, and to learn about cider from our wonderful tasting room staff, our goal when building the cidery was to have something for everyone [just ask about their special drag brunch]. We always have between two to four local beers on tap, our Lola hard seltzer line, cider cocktails and a non-alcoholic cider we call 'Little Ansley’s,' especially for kiddos and moms-to-be ," says Todd. "Our expert bartenders may even share a few choices from the secret menu, if you ask nicely."
