DIY Sand Pudding

Try this kid friendly summer dessert from Silly Spoons that is almost too cute to eat!

Not able to make it to the beach any time soon? Then bring the beach to you! Renee Hanna of Silly Spoons in Newtown shows us how to create this adorable treat that is fun to make, but even more fun to eat!

Ingredients/Supplies

1 box of instant vanilla pudding (3.4 oz)

2 cups cold milk

1 cup whipped topping

15 graham cracker sheets 

Teddy Grahams

Peach rings

AirHead Xtreme Bites 

Parfait cups 9oz

Cocktail umbrellas

Kitchen Tools

medium bowl

liquid measuring cup

dry measuring cups

rubber spatula

whisk 

rolling pin/gallon zip bag (or food processor) 

Recipe Steps

1.    Whisk pudding mix and milk vigorously until thick (about 5 mins). Fold in whipped topping until well combined with pudding (cover and refrigerate).

2.    Place graham crackers in a gallon zip bag and crush with a rolling pin or use a food processor.  

3.    Add ¼ cup crushed graham crackers to the bottom of each cup. Top with about ¼ cup prepared pudding. Continue to layer as shown, making sure to top with crumbs. 

4.    Decorate! Add bears, umbrellas, and gummies to make a beach scene. Have fun and BE CREATIVE! Store in the fridge.
