CA Acupuncture & Chiropractic (CA Clinic) is a culmination of years of fine-tuning a comprehensive holistic approach where ancient traditional acupuncture from the East meets the tried and tested musculoskeletal healing techniques of the West, creating the best synergistic environment for the body to thrive.
Chiropractic care revolves around maintaining a healthy spine. Without proper movement, discs and nerves can become pinched, sometimes causing pain to shoot down to the feet. One purpose of a chiropractic adjustment is to help alleviate symptoms and relieve pressure on the spine.
Once the structure of the body is aligned, acupuncture takes care of the rest. Did you know that acupuncture usage dates back to around 2500 BC? Using minute needles, practitioners focus on opening and stabilizing the pathways of Qi in the body. When these blockages are released, stagnation is replaced by free flow, which restores proper functioning in the body.
Many people still don’t understand the powerful synergy behind chiropractic and acupuncture. Dr. Greg Steiner explains it like this: “The chiropractic part is the body’s structure and skeleton (the foundation), while the acupuncture part ignites and transforms your energy into something bigger and greater. So as long as you follow through, we teach you how to turn your stress into power.”
Alongside acupuncture and chiropractic, the clinic offers additional holistic treatments. “We plan to introduce in-depth applications of herbology, kinesiology, and other modalities to address complex issues. The goal is to provide a multi-integrated approach to ailments that are becoming more prevalent, such as chronic headaches and TMJ, and to help with fertility.”
“Every practitioner and staff member at CA Clinic is part of my Dream Team, and I am exceptionally thankful for that,” reflects Dr. Steiner.

A teacher at heart, Dr. Steiner offers his patients the following tips to use daily to improve their lives:
Standing: Wear supportive shoes and maintain good posture. Keep your chin up and your shoulders back. Keep both feet about shoulder-width apart.
Working at a Desk: Get up every 30 minutes to stretch, even if you just walk around for a few minutes. Use a chair that offers good lower back support. Place your feet flat on the floor with your knees at a 90-degree angle.
Lifting: Start by squatting down to the object with one foot slightly in front of the other. Keep your back straight, bending only at the knees and hips. Keep your head looking forward and lift the object by straightening your legs, maintaining a straight back.
Warming Up for Physical Activity: Adequately warm up, even when performing light activities like gardening or pushing your child on a bike.
Talking on the Telephone: A speaker or a headset is a must. Do not cradle the phone between your neck and shoulder, as this could cause damage to the muscles or vertebrae in that area.
Resting or Sleeping: Ensure your pillow supports your neck and head so that it lies neutral with the rest of your spine. Sleeping on your stomach is not recommended, as it puts stress on your neck and back.
CA Clinic sees each person as unique, like a blooming plant. A plant cannot be made to grow, but rather, the correct environment can be created so the plant can thrive. For this reason, it offers a variety of medical and lifestyle modalities instead of a “one size fits all” prescription. These modalities work on both the emotional and physical levels to tackle the root cause of illness rather than merely masking symptoms. As the great Greek philosopher Aristotle wisely said, “The whole is greater than the sum of its parts.”
