Dr. Cie Allman-Scott

PV's Media Psychologist: Bridging Hollywood Glamour, Wellness, and Universal Wisdom

Dr. Cie Allman-Scott is a woman whose career is as diverse as it is inspiring. Over the past three decades, she has worn countless hats: model, actress, TV host, executive producer, psychologist, best-selling author, and wellness advocate. Dubbed a “media psychologist,” Dr. Cie has used her unique blend of entertainment and expertise to inspire audiences, interview Hollywood’s elite, and introduce innovative health practices to the mainstream.

“When I was young, I’d watch The Bob Newhart Show and think, ‘I want to be a psychologist and a TV star,’” says the Paradise Valley resident. “Decades later, I’ve managed to combine those two passions in a way I never could have imagined.”

From working with Hollywood royalty to building a global wellness brand, Dr. Cie’s journey is a testament to the power of reinvention. After earning her undergraduate degree at Roosevelt University in Chicago, her early success as a model opened many doors—but it didn’t take long for her to recognize the industry’s limits, inspiring her to chart a new path.

“As I progressed into my 20s, I was considered ‘too old’ in the modeling world. That’s when I knew I had to pivot," she says.

Cie moved to Los Angeles to pursue acting, landing roles on shows like Baywatch and General Hospital. She even appeared in Quentin Tarantino’s Pulp Fiction as Harvey Keitel’s date.

“Most of my scenes ended up on the cutting room floor, but it was such a surreal experience.”

Despite her success, Dr. Cie felt unfulfilled. “Acting didn’t feel authentic to me. I wasn’t telling my own story—I was just playing someone else’s. That realization pushed me to start creating something that truly reflected who I was.”

Dr. Cie transitioned from acting to writing commercials and infomercials, which eventually led her back in front of the camera.

“One day, the production company I was working for told me, ‘You should be hosting,' and that’s how Infinite Power Workout was born.”

Her nationally syndicated morning show combined fitness and celebrity interviews.

“It wasn’t just about working out; it was about total wellness—mind, body, and spirit. We had everyone on the show, from Oscar winners like Laura Dern and Martin Landau to Jack LaLanne. One thing I’ve learned is that not everyone can both act and speak from the heart. When they can do both, it’s magic.”

One of her most memorable interviews was with Kato Kaelin, who joined her for a treadmill-based workout. “We set up a circuit in the gym, and he joked on every piece of equipment,” she recalls.

Even as her media career took off interviewing thousands of celebrities, Dr. Cie remained deeply connected to her roots in psychology. Now, the esteemed doc has a select clientele of celebs that benefit from her cutting-edge anti-aging protocols.

“I’ve always been fascinated by what makes people tick,” she says. “But instead of one-on-one therapy, I realized I could broadcast messages of transformation to millions.”

Dr. Cie coined the term “media psychologist” to describe her unique niche. She has since added an education and expertise in metaphysics and quantum physics.

“It’s about blending psychology, spirituality, and media to share universal truths,” she explains. “A universal truth is something that resonates across all walks of life. If it’s true for me, it can be true for you, too—it might just look different in your life. Attain all you desire by choosing well and directing your life to succeed at every goal."

Her innovative approach has earned her two Emmy nominations, eight Telly Awards, and a reputation as a trailblazer in her field.

“For me, it’s not about the accolades,” she says. “It’s about impact. I want to help people unlock their potential.”

Dr. Cie’s books are an extension of her mission to inspire and educate. Her bestseller, Decide Your Future: Write, Direct, and Star in Your Life, offers readers a practical guide to taking control of their destiny.

“Life isn’t a dress rehearsal,” she says. “You have to stop waiting and start creating the life you want.”

The book outlines seven steps to guarantee forward movement in the intended direction. These steps aren’t just about making better choices; they’re about feeling more connected to your intuition, improving your communication, and finding clarity in what truly matters.

“One of my favorite quotes is from Benjamin Franklin: ‘Genius is the ability to hold a vision steady until it becomes reality,’” she says. “That’s what I teach—how to hold your vision and take actionable steps toward it.”

Her latest book, You Can Choose Your Family, tackles loneliness and the importance of building meaningful relationships.

“Not everyone has a large or supportive biological family, and that’s okay,” she says. “This book helps people build their own village—a chosen family that uplifts and supports them.”

In addition, Dr. Cie is deeply passionate about achieving optimal wellness, especially through innovative and cutting-edge treatments.

“Red light therapy is a game-changer,” she says.

In fact, Dr. Cie authored another book titled: Transforming Health and Beauty: Red Light Therapy for You and Your Pets, which provides considerable knowledge, practical advice, and scientific insights to help you improve your family's health and vitality. She recommends it as essential reading for anyone exploring natural, non-invasive ways to improve their own health and that of their animal companions.

“The low-level red light wavelengths promote healing, reduce inflammation, and enhance skin health."

And she also swears by stem cell therapy.

“Years of martial arts left me with a bad knee, and stem cell therapy helped me avoid surgery,” she shares. “It’s about giving your body the tools it needs to regenerate. Why settle for old stem cells when you can have the 22-year-old ones?”

Her approach to wellness is emphasizing the connection between physical, mental, and emotional health and she relays this message on her social feeds reaching nearly a million fans and followers.

“It starts with a decision,” she says. “Your life is the sum of your decisions. If you want a better life, make better decisions. You must decide to be healthy. Once you make that choice, everything else—your diet, exercise, and mindset—falls into place.”

Driven by her love for people and cultures, Dr. Cie has explored 158 countries and embarked on 98 cruises. Among her favorite adventures are scuba diving and immersing herself in the incredible wildlife of the Galapagos Islands.

“Travel fuels my soul,” she says. “Every person and place have a story, and I want to experience them all.”

As she looks to the future, Dr. Cie is eager to expand her platform and continue empowering others. “Life is short, and we’re all capable of so much more than we think,” she says. “Suffering is optional. If you’re struggling, you’re doing it wrong. Fail forward. Setbacks are just setups for something greater. Show up, smile, and give life your best shot.”
