Research shows that women influence the purchase of 40% of the trucks, and 80% of all vehicles in the United States.  Women also buy the majority of all new and used cars. It is estimated that close to 80% of all auto service and maintenance responsibilities – from oil changes to major repairs – are arranged, dropped off, and picked up by women.

In 2020 Julie Iffla took things a step further.  With her son Zach Shipsey, they opened their own state-of-the art European automotive repair facility, British Italian German Motors (BIG Motors). It all started in 2017 with a BIG vision and the purchase of a residence with a one acre parcel on 10152 W State Street near Hwy 55.

Zach is an experienced ASE Master Certified Tech and manages the repair and maintenance business. The dynamic mother and son entrepreneurs have taken a BIG idea and spent the past three years building out most of the facility themselves. Despite the global pandemic they have persevered, and their entrepreneurial goal of servicing all European vehicles and exotics has come to fruition.
