Celebrate Halloween grown-up style after an early evening spent dropping candy into the bags of several dozen tiny superheroes and fairy princesses. An all-adult Halloween party can be a spooky good time for the over 21 set. Who doesn’t love the chance to dress up in a goofy costume and eat meatballs disguised as eyeballs after a hard day’s work? Whip up this easy batch fall cocktail, set out a few tasty treats, and let the frightening festivities begin. 

Maple Bourbon Pumpkin Fizz

Batch cocktails are an easy way to serve a crowd. No reason to be stressed and running around making individual drinks for everyone when you can whip these up ahead of time. Guests can serve themselves their own fizzy cocktails.

Ingredients:

Pumpkin Purée Mix:
3 cups canned pumpkin
3 cups sugar
1 ½ teaspoons salt
1 ½ teaspoons ginger
3 teaspoons cinnamon
1 cup apple cider
2 tablespoons fresh squeezed lemon juice
1 cup Smoked Maple Bourbon*
1 cup German Apple Schnapps*
1 ½ cups Vanilla Vodka*
1 ½ cups Apple Cider
18 dashes of Ginger bitters*
¼ cup fresh squeezed lemon juice
1 one liter bottle club soda
Ice cubes
Cinnamon sticks and apple slices for garnishing

Makes;
12 servings

Prep Time:
20 minutes plus 8 hours chill time

Instructions:
Up to 8 hours ahead:
Whisk Pumpkin Purée Mix ingredients together.
Add to a gallon container with next five ingredients. Refrigerate.
At party time, stir in lemon juice and slowly add club soda.
Pour gently to fill a 2 quart pitcher or punchbowl. You will have a little leftover.
Set out glasses with a cinnamon stick and skewered apple slice in each.
Pour cocktail over ice in a glass to serve.
