Boerne Family YMCA 12th Annual Turkey Trot 10K and 5K
The Boerne Family YMCA has a scenic city 5K and 10K if you want a bit more of a challenge. You’ll start in Main Plaza and cruise through the charming neighborhoods around downtown before returning to the center of town. Of course, you can also opt for the one-mile trail walk along Cibolo Creek if you want to keep things chill.

Tara’s Turkey Trot
Get your run/walk on before you indulge at Tara’s Turkey Trot! Our publisher, Tara Bové, hosts her 17th annual event benefitting the Hill Country Pregnancy Care Center. It’s always free, but everyone is encouraged to donate kids' cold-weather clothing or give financially. Kids and pets are welcome along the 3- or 6-mile routes, and it’s a great way to wake up on Thanksgiving Day!
