Embracing the Joy of Health with Jovive

Healthcare designed around you

Welcome 2023 and all of the health-focused new year resolutions that come along with it. While most have set new year goals focused on getting their health back on track by picking up a new fitness routine, eating healthier, better managing stress, or all of the above, one never knows when an unexpected change in plans will arrive. Whether you are in need of services to treat illness, injury, general physicals, or testing, the healthcare providers at Jovive Health are routing for you on your health journey and have your back in any case of the unexpected.

Your community health care clinic.

Jovive Health provides flexible, convenient, patient-centric healthcare services. From colds and flu to sprains and fractures, Jovive offers personalized and comprehensive urgent care. Their roster of experienced, board-certified doctors takes a personal approach and cares for patients of all ages.

Jovive Health delivers a flexible, fully-integrated healthcare experience that includes virtual visits, online reservations, walk-ins, and extended hours. Jovive is owned and operated by Vituity, a national physician partnership with a history of healthcare quality and innovation.

Meet your local Jovive Health Medical Director.

Jovive Health Clinic on Pecos Road has served the Henderson Community for over a year, owned and led by Katherine Alconcel, DO.

Dr. Alconcel has been with Vituity since 2016 and serves as Medical Director for Jovive Health in Henderson. She attended Western University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific in Pomona, California, and completed her residency locally at Valley Hospital Medical Center, Las Vegas, Nevada.

Dr. Alconcel has received recognition for her work to improve the patient experience, including developing a “Golden Ticket” program that created an expedited transfer process for urgent care patients that need to go to the emergency department.

Staying healthy in 2023.

As the saying goes, “an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.”

Dr. Alconcel and the Jovive Health team stress the importance of getting vaccinated for the flu and COVID-19, as well as ensuring you are getting adequate amounts of rest, eating healthy, avoiding alcohol and tobacco as much as possible, and staying overall active.

During cold and flu season, be sure to get tested if any signs of illness are present. Confirming or ruling out COVID-19 is the first step toward a treatment plan that can help manage your symptoms.

Most importantly, don’t wait. Whether or not you have current health concerns, be sure you regularly see your doctor.

In the coming year, Jovive Health expects to expand its services to continue to meet the community’s needs.

One of my goals as a physician and medical director is to drive improved patient experience and increased communication through the Golden Ticket Collaborative, a transfer program between urgent care and the emergency department.
