Empowering Hearing Wellness: Fullerton Hearing Center

Fullerton Hearing Center is a female-owned and operated private business that seeks to serve the community by providing top tier hearing-related care, education, and assistance.

The ability to hear the world around you is a gift that shouldn’t be taken for granted.

Monica Fernandez, Board Certified Hearing Instrument Specialist and owner/operator of Fullerton Hearing Center, serves others through her healthcare skills and business.

“I have always volunteered in the community. When I started at FHC in 2000, I instantly knew I wanted to pursue a career in Hearing Healthcare. I trained under the previous owner and was licensed a few years later. I purchased FHC in 2017 and never looked back.”

Monica also practices what she preaches outside of work. She participates in the Fullerton Rotary Club and works with organizations like Crittenton, Tara’s Chance, and Pathways of Hope.

“Being able to provide assistance, educate, and be a resource to the community is the goal. I enjoy one-on-one time with customers and getting to know them on a personal level, not just professionally. Hearing loss can lead to social isolation and breakdown of communication which can be improved by hearing aids. Therefore, improving quality of life.”

Services at FHC include hearing exams & otoscopy, hearing aid fittings, adjustments, repairs, cleaning, batteries, and supplies.

Monica prides her business on superior customer service. “Patients are our top priority, and we aim to meet needs in a timely manner. There’s always a live person to talk to and answer questions.”

What else can prospective patients expect from FHC?

In addition to programming and troubleshooting devices, FHC educates patients on how to make the best decision for their unique hearing needs.

“The ability to hear is a complicated process. We specialize in uncovering conditions affecting the pathway from your ears to your brain and offer treatment options specific to your condition. We can help you protect and support one of your most valuable assets.”

“Being able to provide assistance, educate, and be a resource to the community is the goal,” says Fullerton Hearing Center owner/operator Monica Fernandez, BC-HIS.
