Every man benefits from having control over his well-being. Gameday Men’s Health is a holistic, diagnostic-anchored health care company created to guide men in hormone replacement therapy through personalized treatments. The Bargersville clinic team, located at 5116 IN-135, Ste. G, says they stand ready to help clients with individual goals.
Led by medical director/Bargersville Gameday operator Matt Steiner, M.D., he states that men within the company's treatment community say the most rewarding parts of HRT are: not feeling exhausted; recalibrating a body's balance; decreased anxiety; less overall irritability; improved mental clarity; and significantly maximized calmness.
As someone who's worked in emergency medicine for 30-plus years and eight years in men's health, Dr. Steiner assures, "We go beyond routine checkups to address the full picture of a man's well-being: physical, mental and lifestyle. We offer tailored care; on-site lab testing; ongoing support; flexible appointments; comfortable spaces and life-changing treatments."
He says he became interested in Gameday because the services allow him to treat men who are experiencing age-related issues. "We've all heard from our doctors and others, 'You're getting older; you just have to learn to live with it.' I feel that as medical professionals, we have the science and medicine to help with our aging process. I especially like the Gameday model of providing specific plans for patients while monitoring them closely to ensure effectiveness," he adds.
"It's my goal to help patients achieve a high quality of life with energy and vitality. As a physician, I feel I have a very good perspective on what patients go through and I'll never turn away anyone seeking medical care. I feel strongly that everyone deserves a medical evaluation to see what I can do to help."
Gameday major service categories include:
- Hormone Optimization: This therapy boosts energy, strength and clarity through medically supervised TRT.
- Medical Weight Loss: This service burns stubborn fat, increases metabolism, decreases inflammation and helps achieve ideal body weights.
- Peptides: This treatment applies FDA-approved synthetic amino acid peptides to build lean muscle, help with tendon repair, assist with workout recovery and bolster the body's immune system. Peptides also can yield better sleep and increase healthy hair, skin and nails.
- GAINSwave: This shockwave therapy is a non-surgical treatment that uses sound waves to help heal soft tissue injuries by improving blood circulation, breaking up scar tissue and stimulating the body's natural healing responses. Dr. Steiner says it's the only hyperfocused ultrasound machine of its kind in Indiana.
Gameday Men's Health originally was created by founder Evan Miller, Ph.D., with the purpose of helping men optimize their health so they can reclaim their lives to the fullest. The company is now supported by a board of directors comprised of 13 board-certified specialists, physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants and emergency medicine professionals.
Since opening the clinic, Dr. Steiner say it's been amazing to see the changes in patients' health and fitness levels. In one case, he says they picked up a patient's prostate cancer at a very early stage from the clinic's PSA screening. "He was told he had stage 2 prostate cancer and it was ready to spread into the rest of his body. We were so fortunate he came in for medical evaluation. He was able to see a urologist and now he is cancer-free," add Dr. Steiner.
Additionally, Gameday’s medical clinic is designed to provide ultimate 'man cave' experiences, with big screen TVs and decorated in a sports-oriented manner, offering a welcoming alternative to sterile doctor’s offices, he asserts.
Dr. Steiner says they offer complimentary consultations for personal evaluations for those 18 years and older, or if younger, with parental consent; no referral is required, however, appointments do need to be scheduled.
Usually the first two or three questions men ask as new patients, according to Dr. Steiner, are: how to regain vitality that's been decreasing for some time; how to lose the weight; and how to treat recent injuries or pain.
One of Dr. Steiner's patients, Roy Davis, 77, gives him great inspiration of how men should be in their 70s. "Roy's always been active, and fitness is very important to him. Since being on our Gameday HRT program, he's found renewed energy, and has been training for a special bicycle event called Ride Across Indiana. It's a 168-mile bicycle event that's done in one day. This year it'll be held on June 29," he says.
"You literally ride across the whole state of Indiana. I've also been training with him and will accompany him on his ride. It's a great example of how you don't have to 'merely live with your old age.'"
