Last fall, I shared about my first visit to Brentwood. When I think about what I’m thankful for now, I think less about that first impression and more about what it’s like to live here on an ordinary Tuesday.

It’s getting across town for an appointment, picking up groceries on the way home, and making it back in time for dinner without the whole day feeling like a logistical puzzle. It’s having room to invite friends over on a weeknight—not an "either/or" but "and."

Weekends have their own sense of ease. We can get outside, see friends at the soccer, meet someone for lunch, tackle a few errands, and still have an afternoon at home. And when we want a night in Nashville, it’s a quick trip without turning it into a production. I’m grateful for that mix of breathing room and convenience.

My work lets me see how differently people use that balance. For some clients, it’s a yard where everyone gathers after dinner. For others, it’s a home office that eliminates a commute and more time away from home, or quiet evenings on the back patio during the week that become a comfortable place to host on Saturday. I enjoy helping people find a home & community that suits the life they actually live. I ask my clients to envision those lifestyle questions while guiding them through the home search process in our incredible city.

That’s what I’m most thankful for about life in Brentwood, a place that makes regular days feel easier and more enjoyable, fostering more connection.
