Now that summer is in full swing, it’s the perfect time to travel.
At Churon Winery in Temecula, guests can relax while drinking in breathtaking panoramic views of wine country that are reminiscent of Tuscany.
Since 2001, guests of the winery have enjoyed the gorgeous views, top-tier service, and opulent amenities.
As one of the few wineries in the area with a hotel, planning a visit to Churon doesn’t have to be a quick day trip—guests can extend their stay overnight or longer.
“We’re located in the heart of wine country, right next to several other great wineries. Upon checking in, our front desk staff is happy to share recommendations of the best ones to visit. Guests can book a wine tour with one of several companies that will pick them up right here at Churon.”
Other nearby activities include hot air balloon rides, horseback riding, and tours at several neighboring wineries.
“Our hotel guests enjoy complimentary wine upon check-in and a free made-to-order breakfast on the patio each morning. Every hotel room has a patio or balcony with a vineyard view, a fireplace, and a jacuzzi tub.”
Once they’ve arrived, guests can unwind with a glass of world-class wine on the large, aptly named Tuscany patio. Below that patio sits a tiered garden, with a beautiful iron frame gazebo that doubles as a dreamy wedding venue. On most Saturdays, the relaxing sounds of local musicians playing fills the air for added ambiance.
In addition to weddings, Churon Winery is available to host an array of event types, including birthday parties, corporate retreats, bridal showers, baby showers, and any other special occasion you wish to celebrate. There’s also a conference room available to hold work events or meetings.
Churon’s tasting room is open seven days a week and houses a Lunch Café that serves guests Friday-Sunday.
“Our wine-tasting experience is meant to allow the customer to go at their own pace. We sell tastings by the flight. Our wine pourers discuss each customer’s preferences and make a recommendation for one of our 4 or 6-glass wine flights.”
After guests are given background information on each wine, they’re welcome to enjoy their flights in the tasting room, on one of the outdoor patios, or in the Lunch Café, where they can sample a savory BBQ chicken flatbread, delicious Angus tri-tip sandwich, or a charcuterie board overflowing with cheeses, fruits, meats, and crackers.
Another local treasure, Old Temecula, lies just 10 minutes down the road, offering boutique shopping, restaurants, and more. A mere 15 minutes away, guests can visit the Pechanga Casino, promenade mall, and several golf courses.
A smaller-sized team behind the scenes of this privately-owned winery allows for a more individualized guest experience.
“We love getting to know each person that comes through the door. We always give everyone the same excellent service and commitment. We all love working here and try to make Churon a winery that makes a lasting impression.”
