Andretti Indoor Karting & Games Opens in Chandler

Go-kart fans can now channel their inner race car drivers, thanks to a brand new, state-of-the-art facility in Chandler.

Andretti Indoor Karting & Games celebrated its grand opening on March 2 at 1712 S. Cooper Road.

The 95,000-square-foot facility, which is the first Andretti Indoor Karting & Games location in Arizona, offers a variety of go-kart experiences and other entertainment.

As Edison “Eddie” Hamann, managing member of Andretti Indoor Karting & Games notes, Andretti Chandler features high-speed electric Superkarts that drivers navigate through a professionally designed track.

The location offers four races: a 7-minute “adult” heat, a 7-minute “intermediate” heat, a 7-minute “junior race” heat, and a 5-minute “mini Mario Kart Race” heat. The rules and regulations for each option are detailed on the website.

From go-kart newbies to those who have plenty of racing under their belts, Hamann says the driving experience is sure to be thrilling and satisfying.

Andretti Chandler also features a large arcade filled with a wide selection of games, including classics and new releases.

People who prefer bowling to racing or gaming will enjoy the Spark Augmented Reality Duckpin Bowling, and those who are in the mood for a rousing game of laser tag will appreciate the two-store laser tag arena.

Andretti Chandler also offers three virtual reality games: Hologate VR, Hyperdeck VR, and Limitless VR, along with a 7D Xperience Motion Theater.

Unlike some other entertainment venues that have an admission fee, Hamann says Andretti Chandler uses a “pay as you go” model; this means people only pay for the races and other attractions they wish to enjoy.

Memberships, which offer discounts on karting, arcade games, bowling, and more, are also available.

When hunger calls, guests can head over to the full restaurant located inside Andretti Chandler. The restaurant offers a variety of house-made and tasty favorites including “Shareables,” such as loaded nachos, Angus beef sliders, and fried mozzarella bites. A selection of burgers, sandwiches, and salads are available, as are entrees like carne asada and shrimp fajitas. Handmade pizzas prepared in a brick pizza oven are already popular with diners.

The over-21 crowd can wash their meal down with an adult beverage from the full bar, including local craft beers and specialty cocktails. Mocktails—such as the cotton candy lemonade or strawberry lemonade—are also available.

Hamann says Chandler was the ideal choice for the new location.

“At Andretti, we are very intentional about the cities we choose to open new locations in. We look for communities that align with our values as faith-based and family-focused,” he says, adding that the business community has been very welcoming. “We are excited to earn the trust of the community through our service.”

In addition to its wide selection of state-of-the-art experiences in an indoor space, one of the other things that sets Andretti Chandler apart is its large event space that is ideal for businesses and organizations. The destination can host groups up to 2,000 people with a variety of in-house catering, free Wi-Fi, and comprehensive A/V capabilities.

Hamann says he and the rest of the team from Andretti Chandler are thrilled about the new location and its many entertainment options.

“What really separates us is our team members, and our dedication to cleanliness and safety. The team members help create experiences and memories for our guests that last a lifetime,” he says.
