Plan to Budget For Home Maintenance
Homeownership comes with routine maintenance and inevitable repairs, from gutter cleaning and tree trimming to replacing roofs and driveways. While some major expenses may have a 20-year replacement horizon, homeowners still need to plan and budget for them. Many don’t, leaving them to dip into emergency savings or take out a loan when an unexpected expense arises.
Shorter-lived items also require regular replacement, and inflation has pushed up the cost of many goods and services. That makes setting aside money for home maintenance more important than ever.
According to Thumbtack’s latest Home Care Price Index, homeowners spend an average of $11,196 annually to maintain a single-family home. That’s a 2 percent increase from the previous year—the smallest annual increase since 2022. While the rate of increase has slowed, the total annual cost remains significant, highlighting the importance of planning ahead for both routine and unexpected home expenses.

Why You Should Start Regenerative Services Early
Nothing regenerative works overnight, and that's the point. I’ve been losing my hair for more than twenty-five years. I’m treating my own scalp right now, on the same schedule I give my clients, and I won’t see the full result until spring.
That’s not a flaw in the plan. Filler smooths a line today. A wrinkle relaxer softens a crease within days. We do both, gladly. But rebuilding collagen, blood supply, and follicles that have gone quiet runs on biology’s clock, not the calendar.
Most protocols take three to six months and keep building after the last session. The women we see aren’t after a different face. They want to look like themselves again, and that’s the version that takes time. Which makes November the right month to begin. It's not too early, you can start with a conversation.
