What would Littleton be like without art galleries? We would still enjoy beautiful parks, historic neighborhoods, and a thriving downtown, but we would lose something deeply important: the places where creativity is shared, local artists are celebrated, and community stories are told visually.
The truth is, many people find galleries intimidating, and many haven’t visited one in years. But Littleton’s gallery scene is remarkably approachable. In fact, some of the most meaningful art experiences in the city are found not in traditional gallery buildings but in libraries, museums, colleges, theaters, and other everyday gathering places. Together, these spaces form a creative network that quietly enriches the community every day.

ROX ART GALLERY AT ASPEN GROVE:
Operated by the Roxborough Arts Council, Rox Art Gallery combines exhibitions, receptions, and classes in a welcoming community setting. The gallery reflects Rox Arts’ broader mission of bringing people to art — and art to people.

STANTON ART GALLERY AT TOWN HALL ARTS CENTER:
Located inside one of Littleton’s most active cultural venues, the Stanton Art Gallery pairs visual art with the creative energy of live theatre, performances, and community events — making art feel integrated into everyday civic life.

Taken together, these galleries and exhibition spaces reveal something important: Littleton is not simply a city with a few art venues. It is a community where creativity is woven into daily life — from museums and historic depots to libraries, college campuses, hospitals, and theaters.
So if you haven’t stepped into a gallery in years, consider this your invitation: try again. You may discover that Littleton’s art scene is bigger — and closer — than you ever realized.
