Equipment and safety gear needed for races are available at Lone Star Kartpark, and the trained staff ensure each person who steps onto the track is well-versed in safety procedures. Drivers complete a safety and equipment briefing before hitting the track so that they understand how the karts work, are properly fitted with safety equipment, and recognize the different flags and procedures for the track.
“Going fast is fun, but safety is the primary focus of anything that we do here,” explains Damon Cuccia, General Manager. “We make sure that the karts are safe for the person to operate, but also that the person understands how to operate it in a safe manner.”
