Partners in business and in life, Debye and Bob Payne share how creativity, gratitude, and grace shape their joyful holiday season

Being a classic redhead, I’m naturally spirited and spicy—with a generous splash of nurturing.

In 2010, I met my husband and creative partner, Bob Payne. From the start, we had that Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz “I Love Lucy” chemistry—humor, heart, and creative fire. Together, we built our dream team, blending my entrepreneurial brain with Bob’s 45 years of design mastery.

In 2011, after watching Bob turn down print work one too many times, I said, “Why are you throwing business away?” That spark ignited DollarSigns (dollarsignsprint.com), our full-service design and print studio. From logos and banners to signage and specialty products, we help heart-centered, purpose-driven businesses bring their brands to life.

Fourteen years later, we’re still passionate about creating exceptional design and marketing you can touch—and that touches you.

Beyond business, we’re richly blessed in love and life. Between us, we’ve raised eight incredible children and now enjoy the beautiful chaos of ten grandkids—a life full of laughter, creativity, and endless possibility.

Holiday Reflections

What does the holiday season mean to you?
To stand in faith, celebrate the healing power of love, and honor the birth of Christ.

Favorite tradition:
Gathering as many of our eight children and ten grandchildren as possible for a day of food, laughter, and gratitude.

Cause close to our hearts:
When our son was diagnosed with a mental illness, our world spun into chaos. From that pain came a gift: M.I.A. (Mental Illness Advocates), a nonprofit organization offering encouragement, counseling, and community for families navigating mental illness.
