Splurge Bakery in Millburn always has new and fun offerings for every season, and this fall is no exception. Along with incredible apple pies with flaky, buttery crusts and pecan and pumpkin pies with graham cracker crusts, there are plenty of other options.
“We're going to be doing a monthly cookie, so for October, we’ll have decorated Halloween cookies, and in November, we’ll have Thanksgiving cookies,” says its owner, Julie Winer.
Do-it-yourself cookie kits will also be available so kids (and adults) can enjoy creating their own unique fall cookies. They come with icing, sprinkles and other candy decorations. These kits will also be available for fundraisers this year.
Of course, fall cake buddies will also be available. “We actually have a whole series for Halloween, but our number one seller is our witch. We’ll also have pumpkins, vampires, spiders, bats, and all different monster buddies. For Thanksgiving, we’ll have Thomas the Turkey.”
Of course, amazing cakes that almost look too good to eat will also be available. For fall, there is even one that has apple cider donuts adorning it. Now that’s unique – and delicious!
