“We provide outstanding food with great service at reasonable prices,” says owner Frank Stefano, a Yorba Linda resident since 1991 and dedicated community leader.
“Our approach has always been to make sure the customers are treated like guests in our home, and we are preparing a nice lunch or dinner for them. We try very hard to make all customers feel very welcome from the time they walk through the door until they are ready to leave. In a nutshell, customers always come first,” he says.
“We love what we do and enjoy the interaction with our guests; they are part of our family—we are constantly ‘touching tables’—another way of saying we are overly attentive to their needs.”
Beyond his business endeavors, Frank is a devoted humanitarian who embodies the highest ideals of his beloved community.
He and his wife, Colleen, actively support St. Martin de Porres' Octoberfest and were co-chairmen for the event several years ago, and STEFANO's has provided a weekly meal service to at-need parishioners through church volunteers for over twenty years.
They are also involved with For Family of Active Military, assisting military families during the holidays and honoring fallen soldiers.
“We learned many years ago to give back as much as we can to the community, preparing meals for senior citizens, donating to food banks, and participating in local school events. Two of our favorite recent events have included participating in career days at Travis Ranch and speaking to young high school boys about writing resumes and job interviews.”
In addition to strengthening their community connections through philanthropy, STEFANO's stands out for its unique, multifaceted approach to food service.
“First, we are Golden Baked Hams, the leading provider of spiral-cut hams and full dinners at the holidays. Secondly, we are a full-service catering company, providing food for engagements, bridal and baby showers, birthdays, and celebrations of life. Lastly, we are a full-service restaurant known for our outstanding panini-style sandwiches and our Italian entrees.”

“Catering is a special event for our guests—it doesn’t matter if it’s a birthday, shower,
graduation, or celebration of life. We work hard to provide the best food, always being
on time with hot or cold food and setting up according to the customer’s needs.”
When it comes to their fabulous food, a few standout dishes always steal the show at STEFANO's.
“Our most requested lunchtime dish would have to be our ham and Swiss panini, but on Fridays, it’s our famous lobster rolls, which are only served on Fridays and Saturdays from Ash Wednesday to the last Friday in October. After 5 pm, we sell many spaghetti and meatball dinners, chicken piccata dinners, and, on Friday nights, our prime rib dinners are the best value in town!”
STEFANO's takes pride in making local support a cornerstone of everything they do.
"Over the years, STEFANO's has donated hams, turkeys, and side dishes to such groups as Bracken's Kitchen, local food banks, and senior citizen groups experiencing food insecurity. Additionally, STEFANO's supports a growing number of various local organizations, schools, and charities.
For Frank, giving back isn’t just a kind gesture-- it’s a way to uplift and empower others. Frank’s inspiration to give back to the community stems from the satisfaction of making a positive impact. His dedication to coaching young talent has led to several success stories among his former employees.
“We are extremely proud of our team—some of whom have been with us for all twenty-two years! Our alumni group is special. We have multiple nurses, one doctor, two law enforcement officers, one physical therapist, a chef, and one young man who went on to manage the cafeteria services for a major university!”
At Stefano’s, success isn’t just measured in meals served, but in the generations of families who continue to walk through their doors–a tradition they cherish deeply.
“Our family has been blessed with many successes over the years, and it’s very rewarding to see many families coming with their children and grandchildren. We even have a couple of third generations coming in!”
