Fashion’s Best-Kept Secret

Name Droppers proves that great fashion is alway in style.

For 31 years, Tiffany Colaizzi has helped Utah shoppers discover designer fashion, hidden treasures, and the excitement of finding something truly special.

Long before luxury resale became one of fashion’s fastest-growing industries, she recognized that authentic designer fashion could be both attainable and sustainable. What began as a dream has grown into one of Utah’s premier luxury designer consignment destinations.

As a 20-year-old single mother with an entrepreneurial spirit and a lifelong love of fashion, Colaizzi opened Name Droppers with a simple vision: create a place where people could purchase authentic designer fashion at a fraction of retail prices while giving others the opportunity to earn money from pieces they no longer wore.

More than three decades later, that vision has grown into two locations and a community of more than 30,000 consignors who have trusted Name Droppers with their wardrobes. Shoppers return not only for luxury handbags, designer clothing, jewelry, and one-of-a-kind finds, but also for the thrill of discovery. With new arrivals every day, no two visits are ever the same.

While the ever-changing inventory keeps customers coming back, Colaizzi believes the true success of Name Droppers has never been measured by the designer labels on the racks—it’s the relationships built over 31 years.

“The most rewarding part has been the people,” she says. “We’ve watched mothers introduce their daughters to Name Droppers, and now those daughters are bringing in their own children. Being part of so many families’ lives over the years has been incredibly meaningful.”

Creating that sense of connection has always been her goal.

“I want every customer to feel welcomed, valued, and cared for,” Colaizzi says. “To me, a locally owned business is about more than retail. It’s about building relationships, creating jobs, and creating a place where people feel they belong.”

She also credits her dedicated team for helping create the warm, welcoming experience that has become synonymous with Name Droppers. Together, they’ve built more than a successful business—they’ve created a destination where customers feel at home and where luxury fashion is both accessible and approachable.

For Colaizzi, success has never been measured solely by designer names or decades in business. It’s evident by the trust she’s earned, the friendships she’s built, and the generations of families who continue to make Name Droppers part of their lives.

After 31 years, that’s the legacy she’s most proud of: proving that while great fashion never goes out of style, treating people well never does either.
