February Fit Check

Looks You'll Love for Galentine's and Valentine's Day

Whether you’re channeling your inner Leslie Knope and kicking it breakfast style to celebrate Galentine’s Day or heading out with your sweetie on February 14th, this time of year calls for fabulous fashion.

When it comes to choosing your attire, Rawan Hmeidan, owner of RaChic Boutique, believes putting together a look should be fun, not stressful.

Rawan’s love of fashion started early. She began her career as a model, majored in fashion merchandising, and worked for Steve Madden before achieving her dream of opening her own boutique. She’s dressed everyone from close friends to Dallas elites, and she sat down with Allen City Lifestyle to share her wisdom on putting together February fits.

When it comes to selecting an outfit for a Valentine’s Day date night, Rawan suggests a “fun, flirty dress” or matching a “dressy top with your most comfortable jeans, dressed up with shoes and accessories.” Jewel tones, the fashionista also notes, are perfect for a Valentine’s Day date.

If celebrating Galentine’s Day with friends is more your speed, Rawan believes the holiday is the perfect opportunity to be a little adventurous: “A baby doll dress. A bold color. A statement piece. Have fun with it! Fashion is about having fun and feeling good. Get out of your comfort zone.”

RaChic Boutique is the destination for fashionable, quality women's clothing and accessories. Rawan prides herself on helping her clients find boutique styles that are unique and on-trend.
