Dogtopia Of Greenwood Team Provides Canine Spa Services, Grooming, Safe Socialization, Open Playrooms In Doggone Beneficial Ways

Dog daycare can provide an enriching environment filled with new sights and well-balanced activities that keep dogs mentally engaged and happy. The Dogtopia of Greenwood team says they separate pups by their size, temperament and play style, so they’re around others that match their energy and playtime vibe. In fact, this Greenwood team of dog professionals recently extended their services by adding a fourth room dedicated solely to the smallest of pups.

"Our canine coaches supervise and encourage fun, safe play throughout the day, and we love incorporating activities like agility exercises, bubble parties and photoshoots to keep daycare new and exciting," says Nick Weadick, Dogtopia of Greenwood co-owner along with certified canine trainer and co-owner Jennifer "Jen" Mutz.

Jen says consistent dog daycare builds a canine's confidence, which nurtures and creates relaxed, fear-free dogs who know how to behave in public. She highlights the new training program they've also added at the facility, which teaches dogs how to better self-regulate and have more body awareness.

"We also provide beneficial, structured exercise during stays. Logging an average of 30,000 steps while in daycare improves dogs' mental and physical health, making them perfect companions," Jen adds.

Additionally, Dogtopia’s dog spa services include spa baths, brush-outs, ear cleaning, toothbrushing, nail trims and other grooming options. To continue hygiene at home, the company also sells helpful products, such as deodorizer sprays, ear care products and skin balms.

Pet parents appreciate Dogtopia's state-of-the-art facility with live webcam access, report cards, regular updates, consistent schedules, wellness routines and no-fuss billing. Jen says peace of mind knowing dogs are safe and having fun is paramount.

Dogtopia's canine coaches complete a custom curriculum accredited by the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers (CCPDT).

Essentially, Dogtopia's unique, overall program is based on three foundational principles: dog socialization, exercise and education. They also are concerned about each dog's wellness. Their facility uses certified, pet-safe cleaning protocols and enforces strict vaccination and temperament evaluation requirements for all dogs. Nick says their special rubberized flooring in the climate-controlled playrooms aids in dogs' long-term joint health. "The supervised brain games also improve dogs' behaviors and manners," he adds.

Jen agrees: "Dogs that come to us, especially those who participate in our training, learn how to behave in social situations and be more comfortable around new dogs and new people. We're all about building focus, confidence and consistency."

"We're way more than just a place while pet parents are away from home. We transformed traditional kennel-style boarding into an active, social and educational experience," states Nick and Jen.

"Dogtopia dogs learn social cues and doggie manners. Socializing with like-minded dogs helps them all be good canine citizens."
