The age-old question—how can you truly feel your best?—may finally have an answer. In The Feel-Good Way, celebrity nutritionist Cara Clark reveals the secret to sustaining a healthy and happy lifestyle and relationship with food. This carefully curated recipe book offers dozens of unique recipes, each handpicked to help you feel great from the inside out.
Cara first entered the nutrition world in 2009 by creating Cara Clark Nutrition. Since then, she has dedicated herself to helping others develop and maintain a sustainable and healthy relationship with food. She is also a mom to four daughters, has worked with thousands of clients, including celebrities, Olympic athletes, NBA and MLB draft prospects, has done speaking engagements, and now has her newest accomplishment to date: The Feel-Good Way.
“My ideal for people to take away is to reduce the stress around food,” Cara Clark explains. “Whether that's coming from the fear of eating too much, or the fear of eating the wrong foods, or building confidence in the kitchen. Because at my stage of life with four kids, they are dropping some major bombs on you in the kitchen, and that space needs to be emotionally safe.”
Releasing on May 13th, The Feel-Good Way heavily incorporates The Feel-Good Philosophy - one of the core parts of CCN (Cara Clark Nutrition). The Feel-Good Philosophy starts with seven fundamentals: eat within an hour of waking, eat every three or four hours during the day, combine macros every time you eat: 50 percent carbs, 25 percent protein, and 20 percent fat, keep meal sizes consistent, eat five different colors a day, drink half your body weight in ounces of water, and move your body in a way that feels good for thirty minutes at least four times a week.
By staying consistent with these seven fundamentals, sustaining a healthier lifestyle has never been easier.
“The reason we call it The Feel-Good Way and we call our membership the CCN difference is because we want people to really feel the difference when they eat the way that we teach,” Cara explains. “So, as the foundation of Cara Clark Nutrition, what we teach in a feel-good way, we recommend an eating philosophy that is super sustainable.”
The Feel-Good Way has something for everyone, with six chapters divided into breakfast, smoothies, shakes and bowls, lunch, snacks, dinner, and dessert. Recipes aside, Cara’s personal touches are consistent throughout the book, including an end-of-day blessing, heartfelt prayers, and feel-good FAQ sections.
“We take traditional recipes, and we CCN-ify them,” Cara says. “We make them macro-balanced. We pull the best ingredients, and we combine them to make traditional recipes healthier essentially and macro-balanced.”
Shifting your eating habits to nourish your body and feel your best may seem overwhelming at first, but The Feel-Good Way proves that it’s not only possible—it’s achievable and enjoyable. With her expert guidance, practical tips, and delicious, nutrient-packed recipes, Cara makes the journey to a healthier lifestyle feel effortless, empowering you to create lasting habits that genuinely make a difference.
“Start with one meal a day,” she advises. “You don't have to overhaul your whole life and choose meals that you don’t like. Don't force yourself to eat food that doesn't sound good. And I think that's kind of what people think they're doing when they make lifestyle changes. But if you pick up my book, you're going to see a ton of traditional recipes in here CCN-ified, you get to choose what you eat, but start with just one meal a day.”
The same week that The Feel-Good Way is released, Cara plans to hold a book signing in downtown Franklin to engage with the community face-to-face, hoping to remind everyone that you are never alone in your nutrition journey. She plans to do more community-focused events in the future as well as she strives to build a more fun and safe culture around food.
Outside of her book, one of the ways she accomplishes this is through a membership program that CCN offers. This program is made up of 650-850 members, and their community meets twice a month over Zoom to establish face-to-face connections and allow CCN to teach more about the integrative health of the female body.
