Feeling Grateful 2021

Gratitude Can Prompt Happiness, Enhance Positivity, Increase Self-Esteem, Improve Relationships, Help Decision-Making, Reduce Stress, Improve Health

Given pandemic-related challenges of the past 20 months, at times it can be difficult to truly feel the amount of goodness surrounding us. So, when we'd like a dose of optimism, a gratitude list can be the perfect tool. Simple things to be grateful for, especially during tough times, include:

  • A roof overhead and a warm home.
  • Health and medical teams.
  • Safety.
  • Plenty of drinkable water.
  • Not having to go hungry.
  • Friends, genetic family and chosen family.
  • Beloved pets.
  • Pure baby giggles and toddler laughter.
  • First responders.
  • Memories shared by elderly.
  • Five senses (sight, touch, smell, taste, hearing).
  • Access to the Internet.
  • Small, free life pleasures, such as sunshine.
  • Kindness of people never met before.
