Find Your Flow: Wellness That Sticks

Balanced habits for a healthier, happier life.

With the fun of the holidays behind us, many are looking ahead to 2025 and wondering how they can make this year their best yet—I know I am! One of my biggest goals this year is to find balance in the hustle and bustle of daily life and maintain it for more than a month. That’s why I spoke with Bobby Keenum, owner of Premier Fitness & Nutrition, LLC, to learn more about creating healthy, sustainable habits to improve both my physical and mental well-being throughout the year.

As I’ve progressed in my wellness journey, a major focus has been on shifting my mindset and understanding that perfection isn’t possible. With so much happening in our day-to-day lives, it’s a privilege just to find time to take care of ourselves. That’s why Bobby emphasized celebrating small wins each day, whether it’s a 10-minute walk, a strength-training session at the gym, or simply going to bed on time to ensure you’re the best version of yourself.

“Food freedom” is also a central part of Bobby’s coaching philosophy. He works with clients to view food on a spectrum, encouraging them to prioritize larger amounts of healthy options while still allowing for indulgences in their favorite treats from time to time.

“We were born to move; we were made for movement,” Bobby said. “Get some sunlight, get some steps, and get some sleep.”
