Fit, Fun, and Swaggy

A Gym Designed to Make Mind, Body, and Health "Swaggy" Again

What makes fitness "swaggy"? Is it how fast you run? Is it how strong you are? Malia Gaddy, operations director of S.W.A.G Kids Gym, says it best. “Fun through fitness really is a lifestyle, but being a good person is just as important as being physically fit.”

A place founded on three main principles: Education of Physical Literacy, Entertainment for Enjoyment, and Inspiring Future Generations, S.W.A.G gym was built to transform young mindsets. According to Malia, S.W.A.G. ensures “an environment where each child can reach their personal best without feeling pressure to meet a performance standard.” It’s a place where everybody not only knows your name, but cheers it.

Malia emphasizes the importance of individual growth and how participating at S.W.A.G gym can benefit not just kids but everyone in the gym. As each young, impressionable mind begins to soar, a team of caring coaches is there to guarantee “each child is seen and heard”. Although the coaches are there to teach the kids, Malia says they take away valuable lessons too. “S.W.A.G has taught each of us the value of a collective and positive effort. The successes we've had as a team, as well as in our classes, are a true testament to teamwork makes the dream work! I believe S.W.A.G has allowed each of us to highlight and put forth our strengths to grow as leaders in youth health and fitness.”

“An active fitness routine is important for youth physical fitness and the earlier they are taught its value, the more likely they are to maintain these healthy habits in their teen and adult years,” says Malia. From ages 10 months to 13 years old, S.W.A.G offers a variety of classes, each designed to strengthen physical and mental toughness and form healthy habits at a young age. Not only do these classes include fun through fitness, they also exude their swag through fun names! The Little Rockets (ages 10 months to 2 years) will have the kids jumping to the moon and climbing on the stars. The Energizer Bunnies (ages 4-6) turns kids as cute as bunnies into sneaky ninja warriors. Workout Warriors (ages 8-13) will make the parents sitting in the lounge area wish they were 13 again.

The names are undeniably creative, yes… but the best part is that S.W.A.G Kids Gym offers a free trial class. This allows families to see the gym, meet coaches, and experience workouts firsthand!

So, ask yourself again.. What makes fitness swaggy? It could be how fast you run or how strong you are. But the true answer lies at S.W.A.G Kids Gym! For more information or to enroll, visit swagkidsgym.com.
