Fixed: Healthy Chef-Imagined Cuisine Right to Your Door

Keep eating right with locally owned and freshly made prepared meals

Recently most people have been looking to source healthy, high-quality dishes for themselves and their families in today's busy world. Many may not have time to create their culinary works of art. Chef Keith Cluck and Fixed have the tasty answer to this edible dilemma.

Cluck graduated from Scottsdale Culinary Academy in 2002 and moved to Las Vegas. Upon graduation, he worked for a large catering company in Las Vegas called At Your Service Catering. While there, he also had several jobs on The Strip, including working for Bobby Flay at his flagship restaurant at Caesars Palace, Mesa Grill. After a few years in Las Vegas, he moved to Portland, Oregon, and joined the culinary team at The Heathman Hotel (fine-dining French food); in addition, Cluck ended up working for a fine-dining Italian restaurant.

The restaurant world can be very challenging, leading Cluck to take a break and attend pharmacy school. He graduated with a Doctor of Pharmacy in 2011. After being a practicing pharmacist for a while, he desired to return to the hospitality world. He created Fixed and a breakfast/lunch cafe called Dip that Fixed uses to manage operations. They sell and deliver meal preps throughout the Las Vegas Valley twice weekly.

"Fixed felt like an easy fit since I had the kitchen operations established. We had some requests for meal preps from our restaurant customers, so we just decided to give it a shot. We now offer meal preps in our store for sale and the online ordering/delivery option. We can customize the meal for any dietary requests a client may have," he added.

Cluck's restaurant Dip opened in September 2021. "With this concept, I wanted to prove that you can have fresh food in a small footprint and without the extra expense associated with traditional restaurant construction. We used to meet for coffee, and I was always bummed out by how bad the food was at typical coffee shops, so we are using a similar space and producing fresh, delicious food. We do not have freezers or fryers, and everything is fresh. Fresh food fast is our tagline," said Cluck.

By serving warm, wholesome meals three times a day — breakfast, lunch, and dinner — it's easy to enjoy a better diet.

Fixed — found at — is easy on the budget. Some customers customize meals with extra protein at a small additional cost. The trend seems to be catching on, currently servicing 40 to 50 customers weekly between the restaurant and online sales.

There are many brilliant selections to choose from, but many standouts exist. The Chimichurri Steak with roasted broccoli and white rice is very popular, as well as the Chicken Fajita Bowl, Roasted Pork Loin with cinnamon and chili roasted sweet potatoes and asparagus. And for another option, you cannot go wrong with his hearty Spinach Mozzarella Ricotta Stuffed Shells with roasted broccoli and house-made marinara sauce.
