Daunting as the task might be, Dayton Young of JoJo’s Taphouse and Restaurant was up for the challenge of creating what she calls "The Frederick Elixir." This taste of Frederick drink is a winning combination of sweet, heat and savory. Keeping it local, Dayton used liquors from local distilleries, along with McCutcheon’s honey-infusing it with lemongrass from Dandelion and Rust Farm and garnishing with micro-basil from City Harvest. Topping it off with a hint of Maryland’s Old Bay Seasoning, this unique combination of locally sourced ingredients is a must-try and is found only at JoJo’s Taphouse and Restaurant.
