In recent years, Hendersonville has become home to a dazzling array of entertainment options. From concerts to festivals, there is always something exciting happening in the City by the Lake.
While special events happen year-round in Hendersonville, they are most prevalent during the fall. Cool-weather, falling leaves and outdoor celebrations tend to go hand in hand, drawing large crowds.
Two of the city’s marquee events were recently held – Pig Fest and SumnerFest.
Pig Fest was held on Oct. 21 – 22 at Veterans Park. The two-day event kicked off on Friday night with a concert featuring the Kentucky Headhunters. It concluded on Saturday with a full slate of activities, including a barbecue competition and pig races.
SumnerFest was held at Sanders Ferry Park on Oct. 30. The event offered a variety of activities, including hot air balloons, musical performances and food trucks.
