CAXAMBAS PARK / MARINA:
"The park/marina has reopened after being completely destroyed by Hurricane Ian in September 2022. The marina store is open and stocked, and we are addressing the following: parking, fuel, and fish cleaning tables."
COLLIER BLVD (951) BOAT RAMP REBUILD:
" New seawalls, a new ramp, added floating docks, and a repaved re-striped parking lot at the Boat Launch on Collier Blvd (across from the entrance to Isles of Capri) are being renovated currently and should be completed in the next few months."
E-BIKES & E-SCOOTERS:
"It didn't take only one accident for Collier County Commissioners to address this issue trying to determine fair, enforceable, and most importantly SAFE regulations involving these fast-moving vehicles.
According to Florida State Statute, these electric vehicle operators may ride where bicycles are allowed - streets, shoulders, sidewalks, and multi-use paths. Due to many accidents, though, even the State is relooking at their Statute. Anything we offer as a best and safest option must be something that makes sense, is clear, and is enforceable.
