The Writers And Photographers Behind The Stories
Journalists, editors, photographers, and publishers from across Idaho gathered in Boise this spring for the annual Idaho Press Club awards, recognizing outstanding work in reporting, writing, photography, and publishing throughout the state. For Boise Lifestyle and Meridian Lifestyle, it marked our strongest showing yet and reflected the caliber of contributors helping shape these magazines each month.
Jordan Gray earned multiple honors this year, including first place awards for “Feline and the Felons” and “Healing One Dive at a Time,” along with recognition for “Scouting for Spuds” and “Changing the Game Together.” Tammy de Weerd’s “Rising Together, Glass by Glass” was also recognized, along with award-winning cover recognition for both Boise Lifestyle and Meridian Lifestyle.
What continues to stand out to me is the care our contributors bring to these stories. The conversations, reporting, photography, revisions, and trust built along the way rarely happen quickly or easily. These stories reflected the people, businesses, landscapes, and everyday moments shaping life across the Treasure Valley and beyond.
That only happens because contributors, photographers, local businesses, and readers continue trusting us with their stories every month.
