Spanning more than 660 acres of open landscape, the state-of-the-art Omni PGA Frisco Resort is now considered the new home of modern golf.
The luxury nature of the property’s offerings and the high focus on service will provide an unparalleled stay, states Jeff Smith, vice president and managing director of Omni PGA Frisco Resort. "The array of amenities makes Omni PGA Frisco Resort a place that guests could enjoy without getting in the car to leave. Omni PGA Frisco Resort offers a re-imagined destination resort experience for the ultimate getaway."
Omni Hotels & Resorts is a family-owned hotel company. Frisco residents and future visitors are noticing that level of importance carries through in every aspect of the brand, from the activations on each hotel property to the way they are designed, to the extent of service that each hotel team member provides to guests and beyond. Jeff says Omni PGA Frisco Resort is the embodiment of that key family-focused, community-gathering pillar that the company personifies.
“Frisco is one of the fastest growing cities in the U.S., and we're excited to bring such a unique development, like PGA Frisco, to the local community as well as an unmatched resort destination,” adds Jeff.
The Omni PGA Frisco will feature 500 luxurious guest rooms and suites, 10 private, 4-bedroom/4.5-bathroom ranch houses, multiple swimming pools and other outdoor activities. A full-service Mokara Spa and other wellness offerings will be open to hotel guests and the public. PGA Frisco will feature 13 restaurants and bars, boutique shops, regularly scheduled events and programming, as well as The Swing and The Dance Floor, which will serve as a hub for local gatherings.
Guests do not have to love golf to enjoy staying at the property, Jeff assures, but for golf aficionados, the property is unsurpassed. They will have access to play opportunities at the two championship golf courses, collectively known as Fields Ranch, at the 10-hole short course, The Swing, and the 2-acre putting course, The Dance Floor, both of which are lit for night play.
The PGA Coaching Center will offer guests and local residents a high-tech, data-driven, coaching and fitting experience.
“Omni PGA Frisco Resort offers a very unique, golf-driven experience, but combined with spa, dining, shopping and more – it’s truly unmatched for the local residents and resort guests,” Jeff says.
Many activities and events already are planned for the new resort. Field Ranch will host 26 high-profile championships between now and 2034, starting with the KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship this May 2023. Other events include the National Car Rental PGA Jr. League (beginning in 2023), the PGA of America Professional Championship (2024, 2030, 2033), KPMG Women's PGA Championship (2025, 2031), and the PGA Championship (2027, 2034).
The hotel already has a substantial amount of group business booked as well, Jeff confirms. Omni PGA Frisco also will be home to a significant number of programming and events for local residents, including holiday experiences and a July Fourth weekend programming. Restaurants will host events, too. Jeff says a variety of additional events and activations will be announced closer to opening.
Omni PGA Frisco Resort opens May 2, 2023, just steps from the recently opened PGA of America headquarters.
