Set among heritage oak trees at 946 North School Street is a new addition to Boerne’s expanding list of restaurants. Gather Boerne is located in a 1920s structure with the surrounding lawns hosting outdoor picnic tables for diners. The reconstruction boasts of the structure’s original windows and floors, with some minor adjustments for the kitchen and bathroom areas. The team relied on Twin Sisters as their consultant. The indoor rooms are light and airy with tables meant for two or multiple diners. The seating includes window benches and of course, dining chairs.
Amy Brand, Paul Carey and Jessica Carey are the owners of Gather Boerne and have employed Ohio-born chef and baker, Clare Venditti. The offerings on the breakfast, lunch and dinner menus are tasty and healthy. A plethora of beverages, both adult and non-alcoholic, are available and food orders are taken at the counter and then delivered to your table. They are open from 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday. Venditti has created a fabulous Sunday brunch menu as well. Ingredients are always fresh. The bread is from the Bread Box in San Antonio and most of the produce is locally sourced.
Opened in February 2022, the trio has found thoughtful and energetic associates who were thrilled to get in on the ground floor of implementing the processes and procedures of a new restaurant.
