Workout Round-up

Local gyms and fitness studios are here to help southern Utahns achieve their goals. Passionate coaches and instructors offer fun and effective indoor workouts, keeping clients warm and fit this winter. We have rounded up three popular fitness classes you will not want to miss.

Rock climb and align at Contact Climbing Gym

Every Friday, Kelbie Sorensen leads yogis through a dynamic free-flow vinyasa practice. Free-flow yoga is open to all levels of practitioners and aims to give yogis independence as they deepen their mind-body awareness. Afterward, yogis don their climbing shoes and head to the rock wall for an optional community climb. The opportunity to climb as a group ensures everyone has a belay partner. This class is perfect for those seeking community and friendship.

Bike to the beat at The Hype

The Hype is known for energetic and inspiring cycling classes. Cyclists spend 45 minutes racing, building muscle and climbing to the beat of popular music. Class ends with a refreshing lavender towel, short stretch and a flood of endorphins. New riders cycle for free with the code SWEATLIFE at checkout, and this month only, new Gold Unlimited memberships are just $50 for the first month, no contract. Come see what the hype is about.

Set new records at Summit Athletic Club

Runners are achieving their personal best at Summit’s Zone Functional Training class Tread. Guided by your heart rate and your coach, this treadmill-based workout is tailored to your goals. Tread regulars have qualified for the Boston and New York marathons all while surrounded by amazing coaches and supporters. All abilities are welcome Mondays at 9 a.m. and Thursdays at 7 a.m. at their Bluff Street location.
