"I get to know them, and I get to know their story," Jen proudly shared. "I'm mindful of what products we choose to sell and ask that each product being sold includes a description, so that our customers know exactly what they're purchasing. There are so many people creating so many amazing, top-quality products, many with the best ingredients, so we do everything we can to support them."
Source of Universal Love (S.O.U.L.), a non-profit that provides support and help to individuals and families in need (sourceofuniversallove.com) started prior to the family's purchase of the space. Jen and her husband Gary are S.O.U.L.'s co-vice presidents; they collect food, clothing, monetary donations and more for the non-profit right at Jen's Gifts of Love.
"Miracles happen here every day, and there is so much good in this space," Jen said, "but it's all because of the amazing people in the community. We have so much to be grateful for."
Jen shared that she has not advertised her business since she believes that "exactly who is supposed to walk in will walk in," many of them coming daily and others even twice a day.
"People ask me if I'm on Facebook, and I tell them, ‘You're my Facebook!,’” Jen said, laughing. "We really have the best customers on the planet."
