Your Donations Enrich the Lives of Individuals and Families with Special Needs in Lebanon

Empower Me Center is thrilled to share that they have received a ONE MILLION DOLLAR gift towards Phase One of their Capital Campaign. This anonymous gift catapults the project, bringing them to 3.5 million towards their goal of five million!

Chief Executive Officer Michelle Hill shares, “We could not be more grateful for this incredible gift. The timing is perfect! To date, we have had much infrastructure work completed and the pads have been placed for both the Phase One and Phase Two buildings. We anticipate beginning construction on our first 10,000 square foot building, our soccer/flag football field and bocce courts in early 2024 with a goal to have Summer Camp onsite in 2025. This will allow us to immediately double the number of individuals we serve and will also allow our Adult Day Program, ‘The Day Dreamers’ to increase to five days per week.”

The Empower Me Center Property is located on South Hartmann Drive in Wilson County and will be home to the multi-phase project estimated at twenty million dollars. Fundraising efforts continue to usher in contributions for Phase One of the project. Here's how to help make the Empower Me Center dream come true:

  • Donate, Learn, Register: EmpowerMeCenter.com
  • March 2: Shooting for the Future Clay Shoot
  • May 4: Wyatt's Walk & Run

Founded in 1999, Empower Me Center transforms the lives of individuals with special needs through activities and opportunities for growth in a safe, secure environment while providing community education on disabilities and inclusiveness. In 2023, through their Summer Day Camp, Adult Day Program and Year-Round Respite and Enrichment activities, they provided more than 3,000 activity experiences to individuals with disabilities from 20 counties in Middle Tennessee.
