Giving The Gift Of Confidence

Bucks County Esthetics' Skincare Solutions Assist Women Of Every Age

Wellness anchored daily life for Meeta Sahu, who grew up in India before becoming a Newtown resident 25 years ago, and overall health still inspires her guidance to others.

“In Indian culture, wellness through Ayurveda (a 5,000-year-old traditional Indian holistic medicine system) is something you're taught to practice everyday: you care for your skin, you nourish your hair and you moisturize your body,” she explains. “Even as a young girl, I was interested in my own wellness. I always had something on my face, experimenting with a yogurt or a lemon mask.”

After completing three years of medical school to gain a scientific perspective on the human body and after experiencing her own struggles with breakouts and acne scarring into her early thirties, Meeta says she realized her calling was in the wellness sector to help other women feel healthy and comfortable in their own skin. “As a woman, we all want to be our best selves, and I knew I could use my experience to help other women feel this way.”

Fifteen years ago, Meeta founded Bucks County Esthetics Center with this 'I can help' mission in mind.

“In contrast to large, corporate medical spas, I personally evaluate each client’s skin and develop tailored treatment plans that combine advanced procedures, medical-grade skincare and long-term health strategies,” Meeta says. “My philosophy centers on educating clients about their skin while delivering treatments that create lasting improvements rather than temporary fixes.”

Meeta specializes in catering to a wide range of skin tones.

“While navigating my own skin journey, I recognized an important gap in the industry — a lack of expertise in working with diverse skin tones,” she says. “I work to ensure that clients of all ethnic backgrounds, from Caucasian to African American and including Indian and Asian, are able to receive safe and effective skin treatments.”

Because darker skin is more susceptible to scarring, burning and hyperpigmentation during laser treatments, Meeta uses the latest Nd:YAG laser designed specifically for safe use on all skin types, including darker skin tones. “The laser’s unique design, longer wavelength and innovative cooling design allow for extremely effective, safe and permanent results with no down time,” Meeta states.

Bucks County Esthetics Center specialists offer a variety of services, including injectables, chemical peels, HydraFacials, microdermabrasion, laser hair removal, professional teeth whitening, waxing, LED light therapy, dermaplaning and Lasergenesis.

“The Lasergenesis procedure utilizes non-invasive laser technology to safely, discreetly and effectively treat fine lines, wrinkles, large pores and uneven skin textures and tones on the face and neck,” Meeta explains. “It helps manage large pores, uneven skin texture and scars without unwanted side effects such as bruising or excessive skin irritation. By gently heating the upper dermis well below your skin’s surface, Lasergenesis stimulates collagen regrowth. Additional heat is generated in dilated capillaries to reduce redness.”

Skincare boosts one's confidence by improving physical appearance and fostering a fresh sense of control and self-esteem.

Meeta’s connection to the local community runs deep. Her husband is a physician in the area, and her son and daughter were born and raised in Newtown. She also is a member of the Bucks County Women’s Wellness group in Furlong alongside Victoria Petty, MD.

“I have women all the time tell me they’ve been traveling to Philadelphia or even New York City for these types of skincare treatments,” she says. “I want these women to know that they don’t have to leave Newtown for world-class skincare; it's offered right here in their backyard.”

The full-service center's office hours are established by appointments for personalized attention; complimentary consultations are available. Meeta says clinically proven skincare treatments are result-oriented, cost effective, safer and produce lasting results.
