Carrying her suitcases full of every possible thing a girl could use, she breezes into the room. One would assume that carrying two suitcases full of glam-inducing products up several flights of stairs would dampen the spirit of this barely 5-foot-tall gal, but she is effervescent. She is not only beautiful; her smile is contagious, and rarely is there a moment it’s not on display. She exudes a joy and peace that is not often found, and she is everyone’s biggest cheerleader. This glamour girl is much more than a pretty face. Ashley Chin is finding success in the ever-evolving beauty industry. As the owner of Glam Bridal Beauty, Ashley has found a niche that has propelled her career beyond her dreams.

Beginning her journey at The Temple studying cosmetology, she credits owners Sharon and Charles Riser as her strongest mentors in the business.

“They taught me so much about this business and life. They taught me three important things: that giving back is the most important part of business; if one out of 25 of your clients is unhappy, you are doing a great job, but do the right thing with the one that’s unhappy; and always look the part!”

Ashley always looks the part. Fashionable and stylish, she stays fresh on all the latest trends. Style isn’t only about the outside.

“Style, to me, is kindness. It’s glamorous. It’s a way you treat people, and it’s also the way you present yourself. Beauty really resonates and comes from the inside. That has been the heart of our business and has affected everything. The part that remains with people is the warmth and the way that I treat people.”

Growing by leaps and bounds, Glam Bridal Beauty has found success in social media. The core of Glam Bridal Beauty is the six stylists who worked 75 weddings last year, with a higher number projected this year.

“I’m excited to see where this goes, and I’m also a hard worker. Honestly, as I look back, I took a leap of faith, and God has really blessed it!” Ashley says.

It’s true that she’s a hard worker. Not only does she own and manage Glam Bridal Beauty, but she also owns Glam Salon by Ashley Chin, which by the way, is fully booked! GlamBridalBeauty.com
