GoDog intentionally bridges community relationships by hosting a variety of weekly social events that range from breed-specific meetups, free entry days, small dog Sundays and drink specials. “The ethos at GoDog is all about community. From building a strong team of employees, and a social space for the community to gather and exercise their dogs, to partnering with and supporting rescues, shelters, and other locally owned businesses - we value our community.”

Another key principle at GoDog, Shaw explains, “With home being the first place, at GoDog we want to be the second place for dogs. We want to be every dog's Happy Place. They can come to play at daycare while their parents are working, run around in the park while their parents have a drink, have a sleepover when their parents are away, and go home smelling clean. We see it all day long as dogs are pulling their humans into our doors because they can’t get inside fast enough. We’re the second place – or the “happy place” for dogs.”
