Zamlout’s journey began in Damascus, Syria, where he first learned the art of jewelry design. After immigrating to the United States, he built his reputation working alongside top Manhattan jewelers before pursuing his dream of opening a business of his own.
That dream took shape in 2002, when he moved to Paramus and opened Bashar’s Jewelry. A few years later, he relocated to The Jewelry Center on Route 4 and reopened the store as Nicole’s Jewelry—named in honor of his beloved daughter, Nicole.
